About Better Together
Better Together is a community initiative designed to develop a more inclusive Caboolture and contribute to the overall strength and wellbeing of the community.
The Better Together campaign is designed to provide basic knowledge on inclusion and customer service skills that will enable you to provide a consistent standard of friendly, helpful service to locals and visitors who have a range of abilities and backgrounds.
Community members and service providers have established the Better Together Reference Group to provide you with advice on creating inclusive action plans. The Better Together Action Plan will outline ways you can develop a more inclusive venue or activity and contribute to the overall strength and wellbeing of the community.
The Better Together Reference Group is made up of community members who have themselves or who represent others who have been excluded from the day-to-day activities of our community.
The Better Together Reference Group believes that although there are many different experiences of inclusion there are common elements that contribute to making people feel included.

Action Plans and Workshops
The Better Together Campaign has been developed with the support of local business and can provide information and training on what you can do to enhance the inclusiveness of your business, venue or activity.
A feature of the Better Together process is the opportunity for you to share experiences of inclusion with representatives of the Better Together Reference Group. In addition, Better Together Reference Group members will assist you to develop your action plan based on your circumstances. In this way Better Together Action Plans will be tailored to suit your business, venue or activity.
Importantly, Better Together representatives will support the implementation of your Action Plan and will be at hand to assist you to overcome any barriers to inclusion that may exist in your business, venue or activity.
